Important compatibility information:
This cable is intended for balanced mono audio connections.
Standard balanced wiring normally uses:
• XLR pin 1 to TRS sleeve: ground/shield
• XLR pin 2 to TRS tip: positive/hot
• XLR pin 3 to TRS ring: negative/cold
Although the 6.35mm plug has three contacts, it should not be described as carrying left and right stereo channels in this application. TRS connectors can carry either stereo unbalanced audio or balanced mono audio depending on the equipment and wiring.
Please confirm that both connected devices support balanced audio before ordering. This cable does not convert an unbalanced stereo signal into balanced audio and does not provide amplification.
