The UT-890 USB to RS485 / RS422 serial converter is designed for industrial control, automation, instrumentation and other applications requiring reliable communication between a USB computer and RS485 or RS422 equipment.
Built with an FTDI chipset, this USB serial adapter supports RS485 2-wire half-duplex and RS422 4-wire full-duplex communication. The DB9 connection is supplied with a screw terminal block adapter, making it easier to connect individual RS485 / RS422 signal wires without a separate serial cable.
