Performance requirements:
Maximum performance depends on every component in the connection.
For up to 20Gbps data transfer, both connected cables and devices must support USB 3.2 Gen 2x2.
For up to 240W charging, the charger, receiving device and cables must support USB PD 3.1 EPR and 240W charging.
For video output up to 8K at 60Hz, the source device, display and both USB-C cables must support the required DisplayPort Alt Mode specification, resolution and refresh rate.
Actual performance will be limited by the lowest-rated device or cable in the complete connection.
