Create a secure, low-profile USB connection for industrial equipment with this Down-Angle USB-C Dual-Screw Locking Male to USB 3.0 Type-B Female Panel Mount Cable.
The cable features a 90-degree down-angle USB-C male connector with two locking screws at one end and a straight USB 3.0 Type-B female panel-mount socket with two fixing screws at the other.
The angled USB-C connector directs the cable downwards from the connected port, reducing installation depth and helping prevent excessive strain on the USB-C socket. Its two locking screws can be secured to a compatible threaded USB-C port, helping prevent accidental disconnection caused by vibration, movement or continuous equipment operation.
The USB 3.0 Type-B female socket can be securely mounted to an equipment panel, enclosure, kiosk or industrial computer chassis. Once installed, it creates an accessible external USB Type-B port while helping protect the internal USB-C connection from repeated plugging and cable strain.
The blue USB 3.0 Type-B insert identifies the SuperSpeed interface. When connected to compatible USB 3.0 equipment, the cable supports data-transfer speeds of up to 5Gbps and is backwards compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices.

Down-Angle USB-C Locking Connector:
The USB-C male connector uses a 90-degree down-angle design, directing the cable downwards when connected. This makes it suitable for wall-mounted equipment, compact enclosures, crowded control panels and installations where a straight connector would extend too far from the port.
Two locking screws are positioned on either side of the USB-C plug. The screw spacing, thread size and mounting-hole positions must match the connected equipment.
The locking function cannot be used with an ordinary USB-C socket that does not have compatible threaded mounting holes.
USB Type-B Female Panel-Mount Socket:
The USB 3.0 Type-B female socket includes two mounting flanges with fixing screws. It can be installed securely on an equipment panel or enclosure to provide a stable and accessible external USB connection.
The female socket is designed to accept a compatible USB 3.0 Type-B male plug.
Suitable Applications:
• Industrial computers and control systems
• Embedded computers and development equipment
• Self-service kiosks and ticket machines
• Point-of-sale terminals
• Medical and laboratory instruments
• Industrial cameras and barcode scanners
• Data-acquisition systems
• Test and measurement equipment
• Server and equipment enclosures
• Custom machinery and control panels
• Vehicle-mounted industrial systems
• Factory automation equipment
Installation:
1. Insert the down-angle USB-C connector into a compatible locking USB-C port.
2. Align both locking screws with the threaded mounting holes.
3. Tighten the USB-C screws evenly by hand.
4. Position the USB Type-B female socket in the prepared panel opening.
5. Secure the panel socket using the two fixing screws.
6. Connect a compatible USB Type-B male cable to the installed female socket.
7. Avoid overtightening the screws, as excessive force may damage the connector housing or equipment threads.
Compatibility Information:
The USB-C screw spacing, thread size and mounting positions must match the connected equipment.
Please confirm the required USB-C angle direction before ordering. Angle direction should be identified while looking directly into the equipment’s USB-C port.
The panel-mounted end is a USB 3.0 Type-B female socket, not a male connector.
This cable is intended primarily for USB data transfer and standard USB bus power. It does not support DisplayPort Alt Mode video output or USB Power Delivery fast charging.
Maximum transfer speed depends on the USB standard supported by all connected devices.
